Transgo reprogramming kit
Does anybody have this kit installed on a TPI vette? Does it help at all? What do optional stick shift and shift command? I mean I assume it lets you select the gear but how does that work with your factory stick?

I've got it on my '91 L98 700R4. The manual stick mode means you must shift like a manual without a clutch. Forum member Sliding did it and has a thread dedicated to his rebuild.
To clarify, I don't have the manual mode, I am just aware of it from the directions that came with the kit when I installed it. I am 100% certain though that Sliding has it installed in his LT1.

But how do you shift it like a manual, is it a bumpshift like in the new Mitsubishis? Do you still put it in drive, how exactly does it work on the stick itself?
