Anti-theft system
The system is supposed to be disconnected, but the car still have starting problems, they suspect it's the anti-theft system. I haven't received the vette yet, never been in one actually, but does it have a diagnosis stick?
If the starter does nothing, jump battery voltage directly to it and see if it spins. If it does, there is a problem in the VATS.
If not, the starter is dead.

Should probably mention that earlier, but forgot. If it has OBDII stick, where is it located?
I'm getting the car next weekend, but i want to be ready for it.

. What a ride, but it doesn't start. I notice the key were lacking the transponder unit on the key. Isn't the vette key supposed to have such a thing? If the ignition unit on the steering colon doesn't reconise the key, it wouldn't start right? The anti-theft system is supposed to be disconnected, but after a while the vette didn't start- according a previouse owner, but if the anti-theft system is reconnected. The key need to have a transponder unit on the key, or? Next week once i'm on my job, i will try to rent a computer with the right program to read out diagnosis fault. If there are any fault pointing toward the key, i will probably change the key. Does the key need programing to work? My suggest would be yes, but...?
