Is there a difference between EGR temperature switch, and EGR time delay switch?
Or are they the same thing just with different wording?
I drove to three different auto parts stores trying to find a few EGR pecies and no one store could get me all the pieces and they had things worded differently!
The EGR Temperature "switch" (could be called a Sensor) is just a temperature sender that tells the ECM if the EGR valve is stuck open or has been open excessively - it switches "on" when the temperature of the Casting at the base of the EGR valve gets to some temperature.
The EGR valve Control solenoid actually regulates the vacuum provided to the valve itself to operate the valve.
I'm not aware of anything called a delay switch, although it's possible, I suppose, that I just haven't seen one before.

I am pretty sure they are the same thing, but I just wanted to see if anyone knew.
