Wow, those look horrible.....those are the $600 heads? I mean for the price are they even acceptable, besides being ugly, will they work? For $600 for a new set, if they work, who cares if they are ugly if they are in your budget? That one shot with the milling, horrible.

Hey, all I said is you have one guy who trashed them with pics, and another guy who said nothing was wrong and his were of fine quality.
who do you believe? Are we so quick to condemn the entire company on one anecdotal example?
EVERY SINGLE MANUFACTURER let's parts go through that they shouldn't, it happens. Now I will admit, that's pretty bad, but plenty of people have purchased them without problems.
When were the heads produced? I heard they used to have quality issues. They may have corrected that now. I'd stick with stock ported heads over these. IMO
That is some sorry looking work. I espc like the bur dents they left on the guide. Of course that exaust valve seat overhang is going to be mighty tough to beat... but I think that 90* short side radius in the exhaust port is the topper. That port must flow like a 5hp Briggs (since it's obviously copied from one).
I guess ISKY's patent on those moveable guide plates ran out since the Chineese are now copying them.
Alabama Cyl head has been very careful about their wording of where this crap is made. In reality it is cast in China and then finished in the USA. Who knows how much finishing they actually do.
