Default Spark Advance...

After spending some time with DataMaster graphs... I'm wondering about spark advance.

Why am I seeing around 20 at idle and up to 30 in low rpm's.. however at 5k rpm's i have only 15 .. and at around 3k i have 17 or so.

The advance will vary not only with RPM, but also with engine load (MAP).

Also, are you getting any spark retard?

If you can, post your file (or email it to me).

Doh, didn't know you were talking about a blazer, I assumed it was your vette.

That might very well be normal timing for the blazer.

Oops.. forgot to mention that.. :blueangel: . Wasn't sure if it was normal for ANY car to be like that. The main reason I'm asking about it is at idle when the car was still a little cool, the idle was pretty rough and I could just watch the graph of the spark advance going all over the place at the same time...
