Harness bar install (pics)
This is the Speedware Motorsports bar (seattle based) alot of people have seen the AS&M and the hard bar, thought I would throw this one out there. Very high quality piece, no cutting of plastic of carpet and fits like a glove.
Plus side, I found 3.15 in change beneathe the driver seat :D it's a gold mine

I saw these about 5 years ago in some other Vettes, both coupes and roadsters. very nice install and at the time it I think it was a custom install for Corvettes. I think Speedware does a lot of these for Porsches.
Is everything complete in the pics?? Do they offer a camera/fire extinguisher bracket?

The bar costs 369, they offer a fire extinguisher mount and a camera mount. As far as making the car more rigid, I was shocked. I rode around with the top off and it felt like the car had the solid roof on and then some. The only time I got a squeek or a rattle was when I hit a huge pot hole...whoops
Their instructions were a bit lacking, but have written a new set for them and sent them back to them
Everything is complete in the pictures. Easy install just a pain on the rmoval of the seats to get the lower mounts done. And it's still a custom job, it takes 3 weeks for them to fab the bar.

Have to admit it is different and looks impressive but looking at it from all the angles in your mpegs looks like a good tug on a harness if attached that it could pivot somewhat, also doesn't appear top harness straps would have equal attachment angles. IMHO :(

I've yanked and pulled and it doesn't budge at all. I'm 240 lbs. This bar isn't going anywhere. It's aheavy construction, and the lower mounts are solid too.
