Havent mentioned a brand of anything here have I?

Dont know anything about prozacs build or issues, so if he felt they didnt work for him whats he going to use instead thats better?

IMO most "didnt work" problems are usually mismatched combos, tuning or someone that got ahold of some tools that had no business opening the lid up in the first place. Then the "POS" threads start flowing.

Heres a hint:
ANY time you install something aftermarket you better check everything for fitment I dont care if its a body part, mechanical, etc. If your deck heigth has changed, angle milling, etc and a bracket hole is off a touch because of it thats part of the game, those things need to be checked. Just the way it is, if you dont adress these thigns and something doesnt work right its on you once you change from stock. '
Off the soapbox for now....

Something we can agree on. Thank you.

Now, back on topic.

JSUP,

For your information I am already working on doing a fair and equitable test that will include track times (from baseline to finished product), head flow numbers and actual volume from the same testing equipment so the figures are actually comparable, and also cc'ing and matching chamber volume. You know....real R&D that takes a scientific approach to the testing and results. A stock ported head will be tested as well as an aftermarket head against an AFR 195 street head. Wes Migletz is the owner of the vehicle (on this board) and a man I never met till I posted about the challenge.

The fact that you don't care enough about the same (real scientific R&D) to actually get your own car dyno tested disgusts me quite honestly for someone so full of hot air posting twenty five times a day on related topics trying to pass himself off as technical by copying and pasting paragraphs in his own quotes to appear that way. Your agenda here in these cylinder head threads is so obvious its painful....

God forbid you should learn anything and actually quantify what you accomplished for yourself....if you were on a different board and acted this way you would be ridiculed off of it for not manning up and getting your own combination tested for others (and yourself) to learn from. Talk about skirting issues....

The "Challenge" was meant to be a scientific one that all of us could benefit from....it was going to include other factors besides numbers on the dyno and verify the players were similar in size (some manufacturer's miss the mark by 10 cc's and more). All the heads were going to be flowtested and verified for chamber volume to make sure the compression was the same to keep it fair. They were going to be out of the box to out of the box, something your brodix heads in question are already obviously not (based on the supplied information the out of the box heads produced valve control problems I believe and the shop was forced to purchase and swap springs....you can add that to the cost tally but more importantly its not real world results which every Tom, Dick, and Harry would see buying a set off the shelf from Summit, Jegs, etc.).

If the shop is willing to put the heads back to stock and send them to me so I can flow them, pour runners, pour chambers, etc., to verify all the specifics (something I clearly stated was part of the testing from the first time I discussed the challenge) then it may be something I can talk the owner into perhaps getting involved in (another test) but we have already invested money and time into the first test which should yield some numbers within a month or so (I know already if the numbers look favorable you will have a beef with them).

I have to laugh though....If this test was being conducted by an obvious AFR dealer/supporter how much flack would we catch over that and would you have mentioned that situation?

That's why none of it matters....someone will find fault in the results no matter what.

One thing I promise though, till you dyno your own engine and educate this community on what your own chosen combination produced, AFR wont invest another penny in this deal besides what we have already decided to invest and are knee deep in gathering all the data.

Gathering data....a novel concept for some.

Man up and get to the dyno so you can shut myself and others up that I hope will continue to harass you about it. Your the biggest hypocrite on this board posting as you do with no real world information to help any of your fellow forum members. You bring enough hot air to fill a small building but nothing of real significance regarding TECH (this is the tech forum right?) All of your claims aren't backed by a single thread of real world evidence except the fact that engineers and rocket scientists that know more than any of us (and wont even bother posting here) believe/know it to be true.

I need to get to work and be productful....JSUP, by my count you have about fifteen more posts today so you better get busy.

Tony

PS....Guys, I'm so buried in R&D right now I will likely spend very little time here in the next few weeks but felt the need to post in this thread quickly so as not to add fuel to the fire by my mysterious disappearance. So busy in fact we decided its best I don't attend SEMA (havent missed a show in eight years with this company) so I can stay focused that week on all the new product development I am involved in currently....so any of you that were hoping to stop by and say hello I regret that I wont be there. I do encourage any/all of you attending to stop by and see the AFR display booth and our product. In the event you will be attending PRI or the AETC show, I will be attending both of those in Orlando next month so make sure you stop in and say hello.

My prediction came true.

You're disgusted that I don't dyno...That's rich. My build has nothing to do with anything.
I'm waiting for your scientific R&D. To date all I have seen is marketing and unfair comparisons. Interesting you're using the 195s in all your tests as you know the rest of the line isn't as competitive....
I posted it, you attacked me, the thread got locked. You argued none of my points, in fact you changed your tune about design over flow a bit.

God forbid you should learn anything and actually quantify what you accomplished for yourself....if you were on a different board and acted this way you would be ridiculed off of it for not manning up and getting your own combination tested for others (and yourself) to learn from. please....

Give me a break, the challenge was meant to prove your points. You wanted to sell a set of heads, change the cam and hand select five cobos and let us choose which hand slected combo, be real. The fact that this even comes close to a smell test is laughable. Then you went and put up that pathetic D&G thread that proved nothing other than a CNC head flows better than a hacked port job. ~Whoo fkn hooo.

You made the claim that any engine will benefit from smaller ports and more flow, regardless of the build. Prove it.

That's why none of it matters....someone will find fault in the results no matter what.
I find no problem with any results, I find problems with methodology. I have seen no resemblance of scientific methodology here, just marketing methodology, something I am versed in.

One thing I promise though, till you dyno your own engine and educate this community on what your own chosen combination produced, AFR wont invest another penny in this deal besides what we have already decided to invest and are knee deep in gathering all the data.
This offer is rediculous on it's face. To expect me to rip my engine apart and pay you to do it, give me a break.
Gathering data....a novel concept for some.
Whatever.

There you go again, my dyno has nothing to do with your marketing claims. The two are not linked and have no bearing on anything. When you can't win the argument, change the subject.
I need to get to work and be productful....JSUP, by my count you have about fifteen more posts today so you better get busy.
I'm working on it.

Hey, you doing that on a wet flow bench or is it the hack and guess method? just wondering.

Time for you to go get this locked too...

So basically I was right, if it's not a rigged test, AFR will not participate.

I now return you to wallow in collective ignorance.
