Default Steering whell vibration,Outer tie rod question

I have a vibration i nmy steering wheel. It's all the time, and gets worse as a speed up. I've checked the normal things like tire balance, and air pressure. All checks OK. I jack the car up so that only one of the front tires is off the ground. I can shack the driver side tire as if it were sterring. I can see the wheel move. I can not do this on the pass, side. I took the outer tie rod off, and of course I found the ball joint part very loose. Takes no effert to move it. It also feels really bad, in that I can feel like metal to metal rubbing? This is the org. tie rod with over 150,000 miles on it. Could this be the problem causing the vibration? Thanks everyone for any help you can provide. O, the upper and lower ball joints feel fine. I had no abnormal movement when testing them. In fact I had no movement.

Could very well be the tie rod ends (I replaced my rear ones at 80,000 miles) but it could also be the wheel bearing. Side-to-side movement of a wheel often means the wheel bearings are bad.
