Default Electrical gurus,step in side.Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease.
Ive got a 64 Nova,283 with the stock alternator-external voltage regulator setup.The regulator is adjustable but what is the procedure?Thanks.

It must be an aftermarket regulator because OEM regulators were not adjustable. Engine running for several minutes, adjust the regulator for 14.7 volts across the battery.

I don't know but here is my guess. Attach voltmeter to battery and start engine. Turn screw and watch voltmeter. Adjust to 14.5
Let me know how it worked.
