New guides... (& engine status)
Ok, the builder called and said the machine shop said I needed new guides. So he went ahead and approved the work anyway since he knew it needed to be done. Does $80 sound right?
BTW, going to the shop tomorrow to see him put the shortblock together ... heads will be done mon or tues ... and just a few hours of work to put them on since the block will already be in the car.
