Default What AN fitting = 7/16?

Would it be -4? Just wanted to make sure before I ordered the fittings.

It's a -7. They are numbered in 1/16s.

that's probably because a -7 doesn't exist......or at least I've never heard or seen anything but even sizes -4, -6, -8, -10, -12, -16,-20.
what is 7/16" AN being used for, and if so, are you sure it is not a NPT ?

If the fitting takes a 7/16 wrench, then it is a -4

FMUs are typically set-up with a 1/4" NPT fitting into and out, except the larger "race" FMUs whigh use a 3/8" NPT. If it has the 1/4" NPT threads, then you should use the 1/4" NPT x -6AN fittings to adapt to the fuel sytem.
