I have found a supplier in Texas that will trade my ecm and transfer custom data for 150.00 with lifetime warr. Does anyone know this company GoECM.com.Are these guys good?
Define "transfer custom data". Is that supposed to mean "swap PROM chip from old ECM to new one"?
If so $150 is pretty steep for a 5 minute job. Unless the money also includes the cost of the New (well, likely reman, or maybe straight from the boneyard) ECM, in which case it's not That crazy a price...
NAPA will sell you a "lifetime warranty" reman ECM (with your core) for about $100, and swapping the chip takes like 30 seconds with the thing on the bench in front of you...
Custom tune is defined as the "chip" has been burned for the 383.they were going to transfer chip info to the other and this does include the Reman ecm.what do you think. Chad
