Default knocking sound ?

When I use Datamasters my knock count is just crazy, my question is can my new Bosche III injectors be causing the count to be so high?
They are extremely noisy.

Guess I'm going to say, if it's the injectors that would be the first time I've heard on noisy injectors causing a problem with the knock sensor.

Think I would check the sensor first including wire routing. And then I'd check base timing.

At least MO will get you ttt.

I put the Type II in my '89 in '07 and the knock sensor counts went up high enough to set a code....I think it is like ~35 counts or so. Ran the car for a day and the knock counts were gone. I reset the stored code knock code and have been good ever since. The Bosh II's are a good bit louder than the stock multecraps.

My knock counts are at 45k+ in under 2 minute, on the datamaster.

What octane gas are you running.....since the switch to ethenol here in Florida I know I can only use the mid grade or higher.......else the car stumbles and doesn't have pep for crap. True, I could adjust my timing to compensate for it a bit... but I don't think you have that option. Blended gas shouldn't make a difference...is what I hear on the streets...I disagree.
