I am looking for a heater hose for a 1986 roadster with an oil cooler option. Seems that these are pretty hard to find with only an assembled replacement part being available. Can anyone recommend a vendor who might still have some of these still available? Any help will be appreciated.
Which hose ?? For the the short molded hose, I went to my local auto parts store and looked at their selection until I found one that had the correct diameter and bend, then cut it to fit.

This is the molded compound hose that runs from the water pump to the interior heater inlet pipe with an off-shoot hose that goes to the oil cooler. I am looking for the OEM compound hose if I can find one. Here is what Ecklers offers as a replacement part. As you can see this is a configured multi-component part. What I am trying to find is the original one piece compound hose. Let me know if you have any ideas.
NAPA had that tee fitting in a Ford bubble pack. It was 3/4 3/4 3/4 or 5/8 5/8 5/8, I can't remember. It's very easy to replace, just buy some heater hose, the fitting, and some clamps.
i just went through this hose replacement a couple of months ago on my 85. I wanted the original (non-pieced together) hose, so I went to the dealer, and they sold me the same goofy hose that you see in eckers (the dealer was less $$ than ecklers - but still a complete rip for a hose). I agree with the comments above, buy some heater hose, the fitting and some clamps.
be prepared to bend your hands in strange ways to get that hose in without taking parts off....
I tried getting that composite hose for my 88 a few weeks ago. It has two T fittings in it. I couldn't find the hose anywhere, and Mr Goodwrench laughed at me, and said good luck. I got the hose from http://www.artscorvetteparts.com for $139 which was a lot cheeper then other venders. He has yours for $63. The hoses where all molded to the correct shape, had OEM clamps, but had the new T fittings spliced in. The fit was great, but it wasn't the easiest to get at on the water pump side. Have some band-aids ready...
