New windshield!
Just had a new windshield put in my 89 yesterday. What a great job they did. All the horror stories, I have been putting it off for a long time.
The company I called was a random pick and after grilling them, I let them do it. The one guy I talked to on the phone was one of the two that came out. He had the knowledge and the other guy did not do a thing without asking him.
Th price was reasonable I thought. $236.00 with tax. That was the better windshield. However the weather stripping was $390.00 shipped.
$626.00 total. I opted for the G.M. stripping.

Here in Florida the insurance compay will pay to change a windshield for no charge if it is cracked or broken....weather stripping is extra I guess. Get some new wipers for that windshield so the "old "ones don't scratch it all up.
