big oil leak!!!

Default big oil leak!!!

Ok i've got a nasty oil leak on my car. it's coming from a sensor lokated on the side of the oil pan. i think it might be the oil level sensor. but correct me if i'm wrong.it's leaking with vengance.lif some one could let me know if there is a seal avaiilable or how to fix the problem i woild be greatful.

Are you talking about the sensor that is just above the oil filter on the driver's side of the oil pan?

Sounds like the oil level switch, did you make sure it's snug?

Check the threads on it, replace it if looks bad.... It's an inexpensive one, hence the cheap flimsy plastic it's made of. If it's snug, maybe it's cross threaded, or is leaking internally. Heck you've probably already fixed it by now...
