ok, on my 87 the lights come on and off no problem. And they will close on there on. But I cannot get them to come up on there own. I have to do it manually. I don't even hear the motor running. Its like they are not getting any power to come up. I was just wondering where the relays are located at? And Would that be the cause of my problem?
Try turning the manual **** while the headlight switch is in the on position, see it it will rotate open. If it does it'll spin the **** right out of your fingers. If not then close the hood while the lights are on and see if the hood closing shock makes the headlights rotate. Lastly, while the hood is closed lightly push on the headlight door in the direction it opens in. You'll feel some resistance that itells you it doesn't want to rotate any more. You certainly don't want to break the mounting bracket. This causes torque on the motor and the limit switch inside the motor. Sometimes this extra torque causes the motor to rotate. This will at least test your relays are ok if the door suddenly rotates to the open position. If not, then some electrical tests are needed.
ok I tried the tests from the previous post and still nothing. The close on there own, but still no open. so where are the relays located at on the car???

ok, I did a search and found out where they are located at.
So which ones out of the 3 operate the motors?? I assume it is the 6 pin and not the 4 pin.
