Anyone know what temp it is supposed to kick on at? Will it only come on if the AC is on?

About 238* and is only controlled by the temp switch in drivers side head.

Ok thanks! I just wanted to be sure it wasn't broken.. My engine has never gotton that hot so I guess I won't know until it does.
