So there is finally enough cool weather to run with the windows up, therefore I finally hear the rattle from hell--semi-rattle, semi BUZZ--going on in the dash. I reach over and hold down the airbag cover (RHS of dash), and the rattle disappears.
Anyone had this? And more importantly, can this auditory assault from hell be stopped?

I know it sounds funny but make sure your hood stops are still tight. With the hood closed and locked pull up and down on the corner of the hood closet to the air bag rattle. If you feel a loose bump in the hood adjust the stop up 1/4 turn or so to make better positive contact with the hood...then see if the noise goes away. Or maybe your air bag is just loose.

[/quote] Also, lube the rubber bumper on the stop. Mine sounded like a squeak in the dash.
