Question to viewers...
Your help in this matter is appreciated. The tech groups seems to be more into this stuff, hence the reason to ask this here.

Get a Patent or Patent Pending if you haven't done so already...protect your idea.
Advertise, advertise, advertise....you can build a million of those rear setups but all that work is no good to you unless you can sell them.
You can extend your current reach but will cost you...run an ad with Ecklers, Mid America, ZIP, maybe Summit & Jegs too....the 'ol school wish books in print and cyber space. Hit up all the corvette forums, magazines and clubs that are into heavy mods. Attend large corvette events....like "Carlisle" and what not.....get a tent, take a "display" rear end set up, lots of handout literature, maybe a TV/video of your car @ the track and some breath mints.
I was heavy into all the tangable media like books & car magazines (before the whole internet thing really took off) but now not so much...mostly just the internet....I'm still pretty well set up with my current book collection. I do still get books/catalogs from the corvette mail order guys I listed above(even though I haven't bought anything from them in years) but I just flip through the "new products" section then chuck the book in the trash. I do watch a fair amont of "Speed TV" but I'm sure TV time would cost a small fortune.....you could put your car on that show called "Pinks" for free....and show people what your product can do.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I definately do not pay for any subscriptions, or buy any, unless
I am on a long flight, then it is not a car mag.
Although I have scoured the internet for most all of my tech info and got all my contacts from cf.
Is that normal?
Good luck Jessie... I'm thinking CHP mentioned you a couple years ago, about Computor tunes. I assume you're putting your "Rear End" out there for sale...

About 1 year ago I was talking with a magazine about an article, but was too busy with everything to follow through.
Curveit, yeah that was me in the tuning article. Seems like yesterday, but when I start thinking back it was about 3 years ago now. Time sure FLYS!
Again thanks for the insight into your resources....keep'em coming.
You could also do one of those 1/8th or 1/4 page ads in the back of National Dragster..... I'm sure those are manageable in price.
Also, I think its chevelles.com or something to that effect..... I'm betting you could find a handful of customers with them. With the C4's..... right here is a good place, just have to be patient, as these cars get older, more and more are turning them into true racecars, hence more jobs to do. I'm betting within another 2 or 3 years, as the D44's continue to disappear as they have been and thus go up in price as they have been, more and more are going to see and understand the value of a well built solid. 8 years ago, I could buy a Dana 44 "complete" with new gears for a grand, so I did..... now? for one in good conditions its around double that. btw, I haven't forgotten about that deal you offered to me..... its coming up before too long.
talk to you later
