weird pcv problem
I noticed I was getting oil on my valve covers..enough to drip onto the exhaust.I looked while it was running and I could see pressure bubbling around the cover bolts!I looked at the pcv hose carefully and it was cracked right where it connected to the intake nipple.I replaced the hose and bought a new pcv valve but the problem persists.I took the fresh air hose loose from the TB and noticed it was getting pressure,so I took the fitting out of the valve cover and put my thumb over the grommet and held it.As soon as I took my thumb off there was a ton of pressure whoosh out.The pcv side is getting great vacuum at the manifold and the valve.This has me stumped how the pcv can be working,but I'm still getting so much positive crank case pressure.It's not the typical high wear oil smoke blowby,just pressure.Any thoughts?

L98 right? How many miles? Sounds like possibly rings causing bow by pressure? L98's are pretty easy to get the plugs out. I would do a compression check for peace of mind. Just my $.02. Good luck.
Could also be the begining of a blown head gasket. Compression test will tell also.
