Default 86 getting better

i have had a few days with this car now and it is running fairly good i replace spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and ignition coil. i still have the fuel filter left and then i need to go buy some parts. i am going to get the accel 24 lbs injectors and a 160 thermostat, k&N filter and possible exhaust any ideas to make some power for cheap on these old motors i dont wanna go to far because i do not know the actual mileage of the vehicle

You should get with Jon (FICinjectors --see sticky at the top of the C4 tech/perforamce page) for your fuel injectors (Bosh type III injectors are hot right now)...there are lost of video to watch....before you make your manufacturer selection.
The thermostat swap will do little since the car's computer controls the fan's on/off function.
I've read that stock paper air filters perform about the same as a K&N filter when compared on a dyno.....the paper filter is a throw away but with K&N you can clean and reuse the same filter over and over....so you'd save money in the long run if you hang onto the car.

- nix the accels - i've heard more bad stuff than good... Jon can provide you with a superior set (bosch 3's) for less $$$
