http://www.tunercat.com/
....but I think you would have to buy the Tunercat software from here:
www.jetchip.com/
....and go to the Dynamic Spectrum Tuning section -
DST part number 14005 will program the following vehicles:
1996-2000 GM Trucks & SUV's with Vortec 4.3, 5.0, 5.7 & 7.4L
1999-2006 GM LS1 Trucks & SUV's with 4.3, 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 & 8.1L
1996-1997 Camaro, Firebird, Corvette & Impala SS LT-1
1997-2004 Camaro, Firebird & Corvette LS-1
1998-2002 Camaro, Firebird 3.8L
2004 GTO LS1
2004-2005 Cadillac CTS-V
DST part # 14005 will allow you to program 4 different vehicles from the list above. Licenses to program additional vehicles can be obtained from JET directly for $100.00 per vehicle. To obtain additional licenses call 800-535-1161.
OBDII is a different ball game than OBDI and I don't think there are many tuners available. I have been wrong though, only know what I have read and things change fast.

I haven't heard of PCMREAD software, so I can't help you from that standpoint. Usually an .lt1 file is the same as a .bin file and all you can see from that type file are the PCM's programmed tables and if you don't do tuning will not make a bit of sense to you. Its just a bunch of numbers in columns and rows, in several tables. That file is what you would get from a tuner to upload to your PCM to replace the stock porgram.
BTW, I like your Avatar.

You can use TTS Datamaster software free for 20 uses and can data scan how your car is performing while idling and driving etc.
Go here: http://www.ttspowersystems.com/
then click on GM Gas Products, then to Datamaster and read about what the software can do for you. Then click on Downloads to see which definition file you need to datalog your PCM.
It will be this one unless your car is a ZR1. Oops, you did say LT1:
94-95 Y-body 5.7L (LT1) DM35xEE - Complete Installation ...Click on the file link and save it to your computer and then install it. It gives you a real time graphics display of most all of your cars data.
I don't see on their web site now about the free 20 uses or the price before you have to buy the software. OK, I found it on the Datamaster info page and is still free for 20 uses.
Install it and the fun begins. You can data scan your PCM and view it in real time or save it and view it at your leisure. This will not let you make changes, but will help you understand when and what is happening with the PCM and all the sensors these cars have on them.
Hope this helps.
