question about tire pressure system
i have an 89 vette and my codes say i have the system, and ive seen the sensor on one wheel, havent looked at the others,but you know how right when you turn on your car all the lights come on (brake, service engine soon, etc.) my light that says low tire pressure and the one that says "service ltpws' dont come on. Is there something wrong with the system?

There are no batteries, the units are piezo electric and generate their own power from movement.
Probably the bulbs have been removed because somebody did not know how to fix the system, or did not want to pay for a sensor.

I was able to buy one last year from TLD! Brand new, TLD had stock. Not sure if they can be ordered directly from GM at this point.

Take off the dash/radio bezel and remove the info center unit and check all the bulbs and see if all of them are working. Then go and buy a few. I think they were about $2.50 for two bulbs. When I took off mines, it seemed that the bulbs all disintegrated (turned into dust). I have to buy about 8 bulbs for mines. Now I have all kinds of lights that flash when I start my car. Then the stay off.
