VBP Adjustable Front Spring
In a separate thread I mentioned that I might be lowering the front of my '89. Has anyone used the VBP adjustable front spring to do this? If so, does it work as advertised? I called the company, and they said they could manufacturer it in any spring rate, but I am wondering how it works vis-a-vis the "lowering wedges" method.
Many thanks,

2nd: They have below average customer service
3rd: Are you looking to upgrade, racing, lower the Vette or just because?
I have the VBP sport system (non-adjustable). I lowered my 95 about an inch.
If you want some technical answers, call and ask for Steve. All others are just there to answer phones, take orders and get a pay check.
The picture in my signature (DKRED) is how it looks after the VBP. Note, those are 18" rims

Thanks! I lowered the rear a bit, love the look, and want to bring down the front, now, about an inch or so. So, it's purely a cosmetic decision. My thought process is as follows: The adjustable spring sounds promising, but it's expensive and does it work? The wedge method is simpler, cheaper, but you think about changing a 20 year old spring, etc., when doing a job of this magnitude, yet the money you save by NOT buying the new adjustable spring can be used to replace ball joints bushings, etc etc. Anyhow, that's the story, and thanks for your reply!
