Code 36

'92 LT1 throws an intermittant Code 36. Ran through the entire trouble tree. Nada. Thing is, sometimes it rums fine. Then chitty chitty bang bang. After it sits for awaile, the code clears itself an it runs fine for a couple of days.
Any ideas.

That's an opti high res code. More than likely the opti is dying a slow death.

Only about 2 years old with approx. 3K miles. Newer vented type.
