I received a USB data cable from OBD Diagnostics and I'm in the process of configuring my system.

The install instructions state you must "tell the software (Datamaster) which COM port is being used by the ALDL-USB.

How do I accomplish this?

I believe that I have successfully loaded the appropriate drivers. I have identified that COM 4 is being used by the ALDL-USB, I opened the program, opened the setup tab, but cannot find anything relating to COM ports.

Problem solved.

You need to open the Serial Data Acquisition Window, from the main page, > file > record ALDL data, select the appropriate COM port.

Plugged her in, worked perfectly!

Now I need to decipher all this data.

If your using the (I think) 15 free scans, be careful opening the SDA window, I wasted a number of scans trying. Just a heads up. Its pretty cool, you might post a scan, lots of advice here.
