I don't have my FSM at home and its not something I've had to do.
IIRC the cable goes from the pedal mount to the ASR and from the ASR to the TB.
I think they are seperate cables, I could be wrong.
From my old days fixing bikes (don't know if it works the same) we would pull the old cable from the sleeve and snake the new one through the sleeve. Don't know if that helps any.
I won't see my FSM until next weekend - car is apart in a friends garage.
The throttle cable broke on my 93. Got the part..just need to know how to do it. My dad said this was the best place to go. So....any suggestions?
Welcome to the forum....your dad is right this is the place to be. Your throttle cable change is pretty straight forward. The ends of the "new" cable will have stops already inplace. Fit the throttle cable through the hole in the firewall (where the "old" one was) then you'll want to just rotate each of these ends into gas pedal and throttle body linkage. You may have to remove the lower hush panel on the driver side to reach the gas pedal attachment point.
