Msd pro billet rotor question
Hi I just bought the Msd pro billet optispark for my 93 corvette. I've heard they have problems with the rotor coming loose. How have most of you fixed this? I was going to use loctite,probley the blue type but am thinking of using a longer screw with a stainless washer and lock washer also. It might be overkill but what do you think? Thanks

I wouldn't change the screw type, or add any washers.
This might cause it to become out of balance.
I like the loctite idea though.

Just loctite the rotor screw and make sure the cap O-Ring is on properly.
I have installed 2 MSD opti's. One on my personal car and one on a customers 383 LT4 I built a few months ago. The Cap O-ring was screwed up and the rotor screw was not very tight on either.
