1985 power seat
The power seat on the drivers side will go up and down on the front and rear, but will not go back and forth in the track. I tried it in the car, on the bench, and using a reversing drill, but could not get the transmission to work. It seams like a common problem on these models. Ecklers sell a rebuilt track for $229. Does anyone sell the transmission gears for these units or does anyone have a spare transmission for the seat.

The motor turns a cable that powers a "transmission" which moves the seat front and back. DC either end and see where the stripped or broken parts are.
