Default Replacement Vacuum Tubing

Does anyone know where I might be able to get replacement hard line vacuum tubing for an '89? I was changing my thermo today and noticed that one of my lines was broken completely off. I am sure that this is due to the age and it being brittle. Any suggestions?

NAPA stores sell it in straight lengths. You have to heat it and make the bends.

JackDidley,
I must have gone to wrong NAPA store as they claimed they did not have anything like that. I guess I will check another store.

My local one had it but its been a couple years since I bought it. I have seen similar tubing at Pepboys rolled up on the wall. Not as ridgid but it may still work.

I bought the tubing for my 89 at Advance Auto. It came in a roll of about 5' sections, they also sell the rubber end connections. WW

The small tubing for the window washing fluid broke. When I went into Napa and showed it to them, they said "No, What did that come off, a weedeater"? When I told them "My 90 Vette" they said Oh, hang on. They had it on a roll in the back, along with other sizes. Autozone had larger sizes, its just hit and miss, good luck.

Well, I got it fixed. The tubing that broke was the EGR vacuum hose. GM had a part number but, it is no longer made. I went to Auto Zone and bought an assortment of plastic connectors and hose. I just put a "T" inline and mated it up with rubber hose. Good as new if not better. Sooner or later all of the hard line will need to be replaced since the car is 20 years old. I am surprised that there are no companies out there making replacement parts like this. It sure would have been nice to get the exact replacement. Eckler's used to carry it but, it has been discontinued.

Maybe you could try with FESTO pneumatics, they carry a lot of sizes in tubing made of polyurethane that can be used for vaccum or pressure aplications, and also connectors.

Replaced mine on my 89 with rubber vacuum windshield wiper hose from Pep Boys. Slides right on the plastic tube!

Are all the vacuum connections the same size on C4's? I would like to know the sizes as mine are brittle, however I'm out of town right now and can't just go measure them. I'm in a bigger city and hope some place here carries the hard tubing as my local NAPA only had soft line. So anyone know the vacuum line sizes on a '94?
