Has anyone replaced the carpeting on the door panels. From the factory the original glue looks very much like hot glue from a glue gun. However, I have used a glue gun to repair my carpet and after a couple of months the areas I have repaired have seperated again. The hot glue does not seem to stick very well to plastic. Any thoughts on an adhesive you do not have to hold in place for hours?
I have used Roberts Anchor Weld with good results.
It was years ago, I don't know if it's still available. It's a contact adhesive, so masking tape and papaer are needed.
It seems in our ecologicaly correct world that chemicals that worked great are disappearing rapidly.
