94 fuel gauge
I think mine hates me. the other I ran the car down to one bar of fuel it said its on reserve like it always does when it gets 2 bars. I only put 8 gallons of gas in the car. now the gauge is reading 3/4 tank. whats the deal

The sender contact may need to be cleaned. I don't have my FSM handy and maybe someone else can help, but I believe you can disconnect the connector at the take after you remove the gas lid. Key on....find a test wire and ground one end and touch the other to one contact (can't remember which color wire) on the car side of the connector. The gas guage should read full. Do the same test on one of the other wires at the connector and the guage should ready empty. If each test does as stated, then the contact on the fuel pump need cleaning or replacing.
