Default Sparco Torino Seats

Do the Sparco Torino seats fit in the C4? I think that the adjustable rear **** may be in the way. I know the Corbeau A4 with the adjustable back fits.
I know of several other seats that also fit (most are a fixed back), but I'm just interested in an answer to this particular seat.
Thanks!

Check it's width against the A4.

Default Widths

The measurements check out. I've even read on a forum about someone that has seen one in a C4, but I would like to verify this information from an actual owner before I order the seat. I've also read that the rear adjuster **** can be in the way.

I'd like to know if someone has them in, & if any modification had to be made to the ****.

Thanks.

I put A4's in mine and they just barely fit so if these other seats are any wider there will be trouble. You could probably make a new aluminum **** that is much smaller though.

Default Comparisons with Corbeau A4

Sparco Torino:
Shoulders Width: 22.1"
Cushion Width: 19.2"
Cushion Length: 24"
Maximum Height: 35.4"

Corbeau A4
Shoulders Width: 21.5"
Cushion Width: 18.5"
Cushion Length: 21.5"
Maximum height: 35"

The dimensions are within reason, but it is hard to tell from the pics if the rear adjuster is about the same as the front cushion width, or if it really sticks out. I have no problem removing a **** & replacing it with a flat bolt head for a wrench. With these dimensions, it should fit, but I have no rear width (with adjuster included) dimensions for either seat. Do you have a measurement for your Corbeau A4s?

I'd just like to get some rear dimensions for the Sparco Torino from a retailer, or see see one installed in a C4 before I buy it.

Here is a pic of the Sparco Torino:

Here's a better pic of the Sparco Torino II in red:

I think I can get this seat to fit.

Im just curious why you would want one over the other? they look practically the same and i think the Corbeau is cheaper.

Default Materials (Jacquard Fabric) & QTS (Quick Tilt System)

The Sparco has the QTS system & uses Jacquard fabric. Sure they "look" similar. The A4 is nearly 1/2 the price. For comfort & durability over long trips & time, I prefer the Sparco. Here are some specs from Sparco:

Specs:
One of the most advanced adjustable sport seats ever manufactured by Sparco. Anatomic, extremely comfortable and in a refined and modern design. Back rest can be reclined to the millimeter, but features the exclusive QTS Technology (quick tilt system) technology for rapid return to the upright position. The Sparco Torino II also features a revolutionary contoured injection molded memory foam. Touring car inspired g-force absorbing side bolsters. Perforated abrasion resistant inserts, and a micro-fine recline mechanism. Fabric: Jacquard

Sparco Torino II Features:
# Micro Adjust : The micro-fine recline mechanism can be adjusted to the millimeter to guarantee the perfect seating positing. Extensive research and development has been performed by Sparco Master Certified Safety Engineers to insure that the strength and integrity of the Micro Adjust Mechanism exceeds our strict homologation standards.
# Memory Foam : As body heat transfers into the high-density injection molded memory foam, the seat contours to your body. The perforated leather on the center portion of the seats helps to assist this transfer. The perforated leather also helps to promote air circulation throughout the seat to aid the cooling of the leather on warmer days.
# Lateral Support : High performance lateral side bolsters keep the drive in the optimum seat position at all times. This is especially vital when cornering at high speeds. The side bolsters keep your body in an upright driving position helping to fight driver fatigue during high performance driving.
# Quick Tilt System : The revolutionary and exclusive QTS (Quick Tilt System) technology allows the backrest to be returned to the upright position or tilted forward for access to the rear seats in a two door vehicle
# Abrasion Resistance : Perforated abrasion resistant inserts are strategically placed to protect the seat against excessive wearing in at risk sections.

The Corbeau A4 is very similar, but I am interested in the Comfort, & slight differences that Sparco offers.

I went to a local Corbeau dealer and sat in the A4 (among others). Very comfortable seat except for the shoulder "wings" come too far forward and I can't get back upper back against the seat back.

Anyway, I thought the dealer said the A4 now comes in the "jacquard" type fabric.

Does anyone know if you can bend the shoulder wings back? I think it's a steel frame seat. If not for this issue I would have a pair of A4s on order.

Default Try these

Try sitting in the Sparco Steel or NEW for 2009 Sparco R100 seats. They're around $289.00 each, are made for tight spaces, but have a little more upper shoulder room.

I can get a new set of Sparco seats at nearly 1/2 price, so I'll probably just buy them, & take a chance with the fitment. I'd just like to see them in a C4 first (if possible).

I looked at getting the Steel before I ordered my A4's. They weigh more, cost more, and couldn't have the bases shaved for extra headroom.

That picture of the red seat makes me think that the **** will very much be in the way of the stock seat belt housing. So I don't think they will drop in and fit. You can probably shift the seat toward the tunnel for more room. Plus make a smaller adjustment ****. Ask a place that sells them to measure the back from the **** to the other side of the seat to find out. Let us know how they work.

The 1/2 price is for a closeout. This will allow me get the Sparcos for the price of the Corbeaus. That's why I am so tempted to get the Sparcos. I was going to get the A4 until the Sparcos became available. I'll stay posted.

Default Hot FL

I think the Corbeau R100s look great, but I want red w/black accents, since black gets so hot in hot & HUMID FL! The steels & A4s come in red.
