Been thinkin' about
Fords
74' corvette calling me to get started buying parts
next master's degree
My daughter's 97% math score
Been to the Hosp twice for S@#$
Been to more than enough races
But the last push just isn't there
...27 Months of a pulled 383 wondering where the oil is coming from
...3 Months of welding/grinding to get the header to fit
...purchase of a mig welder/14" wheel cutter for exhaust
...6 months in Afghanistan
...4 Months of finding/modifying valve covers
...1 Month adjusting shaft rockers
...2 Months for waiting for heads to come from coaters
...A guess on the camshaft
...3 Months finding a clutch at $2K...Mcleod being the only answer
...A son who has only rode in the vette twice in his life
...A jeep talking to me wanting the same small block 426 displacment
...An intake that originally cost me $2k and controls every decision
...1.56 Months "port matching" $3K heads
...My favorite video series (Test Drive) haunting me with the sounds of an american V9
