greetings,
....this almost looks like the "closer" for the fuse panel "door" on the extreme right side of the dash on an 88...i have an 88 so, check yours...good luck!

That might be it. I'll check tomorrow. Seem to recall that that one was smaller than this though. Thanks.

Doesn't look like the fuse panel closure on my 86. Are you sure it's from the vette ??

I did a complete interior replacement on my 88 coupe, to include tearing out the dash to replace the heater core, and do not remember seeing anything that looked like that.
