Okay '87 owners......HELP! I replaced the fuel filter and haven't checked it out yet on the road, but I decided to scan for codes.I got a code 34,is this bad news or super bad news ?
Hey AGENT 86,
Thanks for the help, but my 'puter won't let me open anything in pdf/acrobat,etc.
I'm battling Hewlett Packard and Microsoft, and they're blaming each other for screwing up my 'puter.
Got a code 34 last summer on my '88. Cleaned the MAF and the throttle body w/ the appropriate spray cleaners and replaced both the MAF relay & MAF burnoff relay (located on the firewall. Cost $12.00 each). Checked for any loose wiring to MAF & relays. Code disappeared and hasn't come back. Hope this helps.

I am experiencing a code 34 as well, I followed the steps and continue to have rough idle on cold start with the MAF disconnected. Does anyone have the information in "section B" which is referenced in the link?
