After extensive searching, I can't find an actual capacity for the power steering system. I'm replacing my steering rack this weekend, and ideally I'm going to use the Redline fluid, which I have to get online. I've found a post saying it takes about 3 qts to flush, but nothing on capacity, and I'm not sure how the cooler affects this. Anyone?
I dug out my FSM (for a '96), and it says the capacity for the system is 1.5 pints. I hope that is correct, since I recently ordered 2 pints of Amsoil fluid to do mine when I bring my car home.

Thanks for the input guys; I'll order 2 quarts (3 pints) just to be safe. Any tips? I don't really know what to expect with filling since I'm replacing the rack too

Fill it up on stands so you can turn the wheel. Fill the reservior, turn lock to lock slowly, repeat until full. Fire it up and do it again to be sure.
