Working with a stock '87 4+3 car, just want to lower fan on temp.
Installed Tunerpro RT, downloaded the following from Moates.net:
Bin file: 88corv32.bin
Definition file: 32B.xdf
Loaded them in TunerproRT, and the existing data values are incorrect, ie: fan on and off temps are the same (151 C), with or without A/C on, etc
Timing numbers seem resonable. I have also tried copying the bin from my stock chip using moates Burn2 with the HDR1 adaptor and also get unreasonable numbers. I have chips and GP1 adaptor from Moates. I have been working on this for a couple weeks, studying websites, etc with no luck. Please help me get started. Thanks!
Thanks for the help - that bin and definition file seem to work together. How do you know which bins and defintion files work together? Since the original post, I found out my stock bin is ABTC (sticker on factory chip) - how do I know which defintion file to use with that bin after I download it? Thanks again!
Well, some comes with experience but most with trial and error.
Actually the fan temps are the best giveaway for a correct definition, exactly what you encountered right now.
