Coded keys
Hi, I want to order a VATS override loom and a spare key. I do not have a GM dealer nearby to check existing key value. I have measured resistance of existing key chip (the bit inside the black surround) with a multimeter and got a value of 4.75? will this be a 5 on 1 to 15 range? thanks

With the forums help I got the information I needed to place an order for the VATS loom. I also needed an EGR valve, solenoid, bulbs and a few other bits adding up to $290. Ecklers were having a promotion on 22/23/2/2009 of 15% off, but have not processed my order! the shopping basket system does not work for me, so sent a seperate email list for my wants, plus request for cost of post to UK...still waiting for a reply. Have used them before without any problems, so I don't know whats gone wrong this time!
