Kind of the inverse color scheme...New water pump is also black. Oh, and those are the Bosch Design III injectors there.

Don't buy those ProForm valve covers though, they cracked!

Is that black wrinkle paint? Know what would look great..that paint scheme..with the raised portions and the tubes polished. As far as Proform goes..people will argue with me,but it's all chinese CRAP.They get American stuff and make crappy copies..like their intakes they ripped off from Edelbrock...casting flash..different size ports etc.

i know it will take at least half a day to do it right, clean and prep, it's not a 1 hour thing.

do you need heat paint or will any ole paint work?

a primer coat?

yeah it is wrinkle?

will the proforms need drip tabs grounded off to clear 1.6 rr crane gold rr's? or what aftermarket covers will clear the alternator and the 1.6 rr's?

i think i'll paint the stock ones, they look cool painted black with bright stripes

Hey are those retro valve covers. I love to see creative ideas out there. The black paint on the plenom, is that regular paint in a spray can? If so, how long has it been on there? I just replaced my intake gasket and painted everything alluminum that is going back on.

I agree...my entire plenum, runners & intake is painted black (high temp semi gloss engine paint)....hides the oil, dirt and what not with no extra elbow grease needed. I'd take a picture of mine engine but it looks like a sandstorm happened under the hood right at this moment....

They're Proform/GMPP. I know they clear my CC Pro Magnum 1.6 RRs so I'm assuming they clear the Crane Golds as well

The valve covers are GM Performace, I don't think they make them anymore but I could be wrong. I have no problems with my RRs.
