Ignition switch
I need help on this, I can't shut my car off. 86 Vette, when I turn the key to shut the car off,the motor is still running with key removed
I has to pull ECM 3 amp fuses,then everything is off. Once I put in the fuses, the car start like normal,only problem is turning the car off. Do I has to replace the ignition switch or the key lock cyl ? Any help

There's nothing in the key lock - it moves a rod which moves the contacts in the ignition switch. Troubleshoot by dropping the column to access the switch. Operate it manually and see what happens and/or observe what happens while someone operates the key. More than likely, it needs a new ignition switch.
