I need to replace my wires. Two of the boots are shot, and they don't look good anyways. Car is an '85 with headers, but I'm running the wires over the valve covers like the old chevys. Would a set for say....a '76 chevy fit good? I need all 90 boots, and I know a '76 chevy had all 90s, and length should be fine too correct?
Thanks!
Oh, and the car is running amazing now. The 3 and 7 point on the distributor cap were shot and all my plugs were fouled, especially number 5. I think I was running on about 4 cylinders, still made it to 140mph though.
If you have headers, you might want to get the universal, cut your own lengh set. This way you can custom create your own lengths and won't have to compromise with too long or too short lengths. I use Taylor, others have used MSD or Accel. They all work as long as you get the right boot configuration.
