Front end Wedge Brackets

Default Front end Wedge Brackets
I have an 85' c4, Do I have to change the Brackets from steel to aluminum when lowering the front end or can the steel ones be used?

Yes, you do need to change them out..
The upgraded brackets are needed because they've got to be trimmed to match the shorter wedge height. I suppose the steel brackets could be used, but you'd have to cut/weld them somehow. The upgraded brackets are aluminum, and can be easily trimmed!

I cut and welded the originals. Not a big deal if you have access to a mig.
