I just got an 89 corvette! (MY First!) I changed the digital temp to 90 and now it’s stuck!
I removed the heater control face plate. I think the cool temp button is broke or not pushing right. There are little black plastic tabs that hold the faceplate together. I don’t know how to take it apart with out breaking it, please help or tell me where to get a new

Sounds like the temp "down" button is not making contact. With the face plate removed look on the backside of the there are 4 (1 in each corner) small "black" plastic dots/tabs that hold the face plate to the face plate circuit board....see pic below. Dots/tabs must be removed (drill or melt) to seperate the head unit pieces.
