Just had a shop cut from just behind my cats and put stock size piping back to maganflow mufflers on my lt1, no resonator. Problem is the sound outside is as loud as I want it, though I wish the tone was a little less rumbley. Also interior noise is horrible above 1300 rpm. So looking for a possible x pipe install. Anyone have experience using one with the magnaflows? Also which kind? I know magnaflow sells one but that's big bucks for not much material. Thanks in advance all.

Here's a picture of a magnaflow x pipe I did on my 08Z06. It wasn't that expensive. Mr Gas also makes one that is narrower in width. Helps tone down the exhaust note some.
It looks like you had an undercoating sprayed on. Did you have it done yourself? If so you can describe any difference in made in road noise and what kind of undercoating it is?

An x-pipe will not make the resonance go away. You need some sort of resonator. If you find one with an internal x-pipe that will fit.go for it.The resonance with my magnaflow,B&B,and SLP mufflers was terrible.I finally put a corsa on there and I can hear/think again while cruising.
