The heads on the 85 were not one of the Generals crowning achievements. I would be surprised if the heads would allow that much increase. How much you would get? Don't know. No matter what you will get that is a good buy.

Don't know how much power you would get (maybe 50 crank HP) but I can say the long tubes made a big difference in my 85. It really felt like it reved better and held the power longer in the RPMs. Maybe it was my head but I "felt" the car run better.

The intake on the stock 85 wont do much but is good to have if you get for cheap especially if you ever plan a rebuild or head change. I put a zz4 longblock in with basically the same intake. All mine is edelbrock but they are close enough. Performance is great. Still not a high HP car though but the low end power is great.

With a set of AFR heads (180 cc), stock bottom end, SR, 1.6 & 1.6 RR, stock exhaust manifold and pulled the cat and replaced it with a straight thru pipe for the track, 2-1/2" front "Y" pipe and 2-1/4" rear pipe to stock sized mufflers with both outlets working. Had this combo dyno'd. Roughly 350 Hp at the crank and 434 pounds of torque at the crank. All of this was with the stock cam with 230,000 miles on the engine. Long tubes will add more. But you have to dump the stock heads.

TB=waste of money

I'm not sure what you mean by lingenfelter runners/intake. Do you mean SuperRam or their modified TPI parts? Either would be a nice addition, but would determine the other mods needed to get to your 350hp goal.

By themselves they will not get there, and your 85 MUST have new heads.
