I pulled it out of the garage and parked it so I could shut the garage (no remote). but when i turned the key it just kept running. I could take the key out and everything. I tried it a couple times and it finally stopped running but kept turning over until the battery died. I have no idea what caused that. Any ideas?
I let it sit for a while and tried jumping it. As soon as i put a charge to it the belts start turning and the starter starts running. It keeps going until I cut the power.

Sounds like you have a problem with the ignition switch mounted on the lower section of the steering column, if you unplug the connector and the starter no longer engages when you jump the battery you have likely found the culprit. Check the adjustment before replacing the switch, you might get lucky.

MAD enterprises sells a kit that eliminates an electrical sneak circuit that is set up through your alternator.
You mentioned that the battery finally died. If all was well with the alternator, the thing woulda run out of gas first.
