that time of year agian.fired up the vette and it started no problem,but when i give it gas it revs to about 1700 and breaks down.was lucky to get it back in the garage.above that it just pukes,and sounds like it is running on 4 cyclinders.cheked the injectors and got 16.7 ohms.fuel presser is fine.plug wires are good.went thru wireing all looks good.dont want to start throwing partson her.any ideas. also changed fuel filter.and added 5 gals of hightest.new control module last year.running out of things to try.anybody got or have had a simular situation?

If you only had 3 gallons of gas in the tank when it was stored, it's possible that you could still have some condensation in the tank even though it was in a heated area. Once you stated the engine and ran it for some time, that could have clogged the injectors, or the fuel pickup sock in the tank. Add some good injector cleaner and pull the fuel pump/pickup to see if it's clean.
A lack of correct fuel pressure can cause what you are seeing. Are there any air leaks or opening in the intake air ducting? Also check the TPS for any binding/sticking.
The fuel pump seems to suffer the worst when a car sits, whether it be a mechanical or electrical pump. Anyways, thats been my experience. Probably much worse with the methanol additives.
