I've been really tied up with my own build, trying to clear out the garage (extra parts). Although, you ARE right I am currently pursuing other career opportunties. I'm hoping for everything to pan out!

Been waiting on the trip to Carlisle to borrow a trans from a friend. Got it bolted up yesterday and it fits. Bad news is that the smallest hydraulic throw out bearing I can find is .18 to long. Went thru a couple forks I had laying around and think I kno of a couple that mite work.

I used a new LS7 clutch that I had laying around. Bought a Fidanza billet FW. Thought I would be saving money down the road with using what I had in front of me. I need about 1/4" to make a hydralic TB work and about the same to swap to a pull style using a fork. I knew it when I bought the FW but I didnt listen to myself. Clutches arent cheep but I want one that will last and eazy on the leg.

regarding the clutch and transmission adaptor issues, Bill (zfdoc.com) ended up using a bell housing off the F-body LS-x cars and an adaptor plate to merry it to the Zf transmission (his own design using a GM TO bearing). He uses a ZR1 input shaft for the ZF6 (really the only "catch), and is using ALL the standard GM equipment (including GM application clutch assembly- I believe Zo6). Master cylinder is replaced with a larger diameter unit to support the pedal travel, disengagement of clutch assembly.

I'm just suggesting this to others who might be interested or even to the OP.

A LS1/2/6 will work fine in the QT BH. I got a lil premature on ordering the LS7 FW. I ordered it on the way home with the motor. It has a raised boss on the FW which extends it out about a inch. At one point it was going to be a budget build thats why I was using the 7 clutch I had laying around. It will get used though on some thing.

I have been talking to some clutch ppl. Didnt know that Spec is just down the road about a hour. Sounds like a road trip to me. Act has the T1SR that looks good.

Wilwoods 6/4 with 14" rotors. I wanted 16" rotors with a lil larger caliper but the money difference was way to much. I can live with these. Either C6 booster or hydroboost.

Where is the bellhousing from? how about a parts list on this zf to lsx?

Ok, I see the original info, so bump this question.

Tell me about the A/C pump? How is the fit or mod?

Dont have a list yet for the ZF but will in a couple weeks. Using a Sanden compressor mounted down low on the pass side. Did have to cut the K member to remove for service.

It is either 9.3 or 9.5. That one in the pic is the front.
